Y3/4 Celebrate International Women’s Day
Year 3/4 played their part in International Women’s Day by talking about all the women in their life and who have changed the world. They designed awards for those who inspired them the most.
Musicial Superstars!
Children in Y3-4 learnt to play the 12-bar blues chord progression as an instrumental solo in the song they have been learning called the Moanin’ Lisa Blues from the Simpsons. What superstars!
Cherry Blossom Learn About Circuits
Cherry Blossom enjoyed making circuits using the snap circuit kits this afternoon. They had to investigate whether they could make a buzzer and a motor work in their circuit. ⚡️
Ulley Trip
A group of children were invited to go to Ulley on Friday. They had the opportunity to canoe and use sail boats. Even though the children got wet, they had a great time!
The Skeletal System!
Cherry blossom have been learning the names of different bones in their body and why they are important. They worked together as a group to try and remember what the bones were called and where you would find them. 🦴
Children’s Mental Health Week
In cherry blossom class we wrote down activities we could do when we are feeling worried. After this, we did some meditation.

In maths Blossom class have been using either dienes or partitioning to solve division questions where we have been dividing 2 digit by 1 digit numbers.

Cherry Blossom class had lots of fun learning about Roman mosaics. They designed and made their own.
Cherry Blossom Complete Geography Fieldwork
On Monday afternoon, Cherry Blossom class went and completed some fieldwork in the local area. They used their maps to identify land use.
Blossom Class Place Value on their Maths Knowledge! 🔢
In Miss Henson’s numeracy group yesterday children played a place value game to practise using their knowledge of hundreds, tens and ones. They really enjoyed the game!
